With our humble beginnings in 1995, it’s been quite a journey.
With new experiences, challenges and achievements came steady growth.
Over the years, we’ve watched as markets have evolved — they’ve become large,
diverse and more sophisticated. Today, Object Design and Communications ‘ObjectDC’, is a
leading full-service multicultural agency located in the bustling Washington, D.C.
metropolitan area.

In honor of our 20th anniversary, we unveiled our new name ‘ObjectDC’ and a new
look. Yet, what remains unchanged is our passion to deliver results, and our commitment
to connect to diverse audiences. ObjectDC goes well beyond the ordinary
to speak volumes to your target markets — both locally and worldwide.

Object Design and Communications started by a maven creative and marketing individual. Nawaf Soliman is a creative innovator, businessman, calligrapher, and artist. After a colorful thirty-five years of educational and career commitments in advertising, communication and design working with clients worldwide with a focus on the Middle East. Nawaf settled in the Washington, DC area with his own business venture, ObjectDC.

His combined past experience as art director, creative director and subsequently as advertising and marketing consultant with advertising agencies worldwide gave him the opportunity to hone his craft by managing campaigns for companies like Lufthansa, Renault-France, DIRECTV, Qatar Airways, British Midland International, Georgetown University, Dish Network, and many others.

Currently working as mamaging and creative director of ObjectDC, Nawaf has, through his vision and leadership, transformed ObjectDC into a pioneer multicultural full-service marketing agency in North America. Nawaf is also an artist who has developed a unique style of calligraphy based on the sophisticated, traditional scripts of the Arabic and other languages, fusing this thousands year old art with a unique modern twist. He has been commissioned by various organizations and collectors to create elaborate calligraphy art projects that demonstrate the beauty and depth of the traditional Arabic calligraphy craft.
